FalconStream Individual for home users

FalconStream Individual is designed especially for you, the home user. Individual lets you browse the Internet at speeds that are much faster than you are currently experiencing on a dial-up service. You can now sit back and enjoy a life of zip-through downloads, super-fast downloading of files and pictures, and consistent connections.

There is no need to change your existing ISP. You get high-speed Internet access using a normal dialup account from your local Internet Provider. The result – enhanced browsing speeds, several times faster than on a normal dial-up account.

With the Individual edition, you can choose between two services - SatSpeeder (SS) and Virtual Private Network (VPN).

SatSpeeder

SatSpeeder (SS) is one of the most advanced services in the market. It has several features that enable individual users to experience fast Internet browsing and downloads.

SatSpeeder works through a client software that should be installed on the user's computer. When using the service, the user is prompted for a username and password assigned to the service requested.

        Compression (compresses all data transferred to customer)

        Automatic login

        Multicast (faster delivery of content. Customers are only one hub (satellite) away from the servers, ensuring reachability)

FalconStream SME for SOHO and small business users

FalconStream SME is designed especially for you, the SOHO or the small business user. With SME you can enjoy better productivity and browse the Internet at speeds that are much faster than you are currently experiencing on a dial-up service. See your business communications improve as you enjoy super-fast transmission of your data and information through a reliable and consistent connection.

With the SME edition, you can choose between two services SOHO, Virtual Private Network(VPN), and FalconPlus

SOHO

This service is a one-way (receive only) service designed for SOHO (Small Office Home Office) users. Transmission is through local Internet Service Providers, and the reception is through shared simplex circuits on a DVB/IP platform. This service provides access to the end-users with TVRO antennas through NewSkies NSS6 or NSS7 satellites.

SOHO services are offered in several types of Services with 1 static IP, right up to 15 LAN users, with your desired data rate. The data rates offered are 128Kbps, 256Kbps, 384Kbps, and 512Kbps.

VPN

FalconStream’s Virtual Private Network (VPN) gives you the capability of using high speed Internet via satellite by assigning a unique IP address to you. This IP address is matched with the hardware address used by you, known as the MAC address. Each time you connect to the server through your VPN client, the server assigns you an IP address routed through satellite. This enables the transfer of all data transferred to you, to be through satellite, at the desired rate.

Like SOHO, VPN service is offered through different data rates, such as 128Kbps, 256Kbps, 384Kbps, and 512Kbps. These services are offered on both NSS6 and NSS7 satellites. Please click here for the coverage.

FalconPlus – Anywhere access

FalconStream DVB for corporates, large institutions and ISP’s of all sizes
